She was born in Rotorua, NZ. Her parents are Tongan mother and English settler father who totally had 5 women and 18 children.

Her performance is excellent. She won a total of 16 gold medals and 5 silver medals at various competitions during from 2002 to 2013. She recorded 21.24m(outdoor) and 20.54m(indoor) as personal best. Her outdoor record is also Australia continental record.
she divorced her ex-husband and is basing in Switzerland to for training now.
