She is an actress from Mount Albert, Auckland, New Zealand, and famous as a character Xena from the american drama Xena warrior princess, and known as a Battlestar Galactica series.

Early Life
She was born in 1968 and has a sister and 5 brothers. She was started her carrier when she was 10, but studying foreign language which included French, German and Italy in Auckland University. Studying for a year, she dropped out the school and went travelling with her boyfriend where she met her future husband. Finished travelling, she got married to Garth Lawless and became pregnant at 19, and she got a daughter, Daisy Lawless. 


Personal Life
She got divorced to her first husband, Garth Lawless in 1995, and married to producer Robert Gerard Tapert and resides in New Zealand. Her two sons from Robert Gerard are both born in New Zealand.

Important events
In May 2009, she became climate ambassador for greenpeace ship.
She is a member of starship foundation which is the part of Auckland District Health Broad. She contribute to starship foundation by selling her Xena consume, or fetched her portrait . Friday 21 September became "Lucy Lawless Feel the Love Day".

She was awarded as New Zealand Queen's Honour List in June 2004 as a role of Xena in Xena Warrior Princess.
