She was born on 7 November 1996 in Takapuna, a part of Auckland, New Zealand. She participated in an acting group at age 5, and realized she loves singing and acting. When she was 12, she was scouted by Scott Maclachlan. She contracted with Universal and started to make a song with a guitar when she was 13.

Her first single, Royals was released on 8^th March 2013 and it was sold 4 million in U.S.A. She announced that she started to write 2^nd album and noticed that is going to be totally different one.
