Biography


(Early Life)
She was born on April 4 1931, in Auckland as the only child of the family who had immigrated from Scotland and grew up in rural waikato. Her mother, Neil was a factory worker at the local Waharoa dairy factory. Catherine was admitted as a student at Auckland University College in 1949. At that time she specialized in Zoology. She has four children.

She is working on supporting gay marriage, starring in online video ampaign with NewZealand singers Ahika Moa, Boh RUnga and Hollie Smith.

(IMPORTANT EVENTS)



It must be a big turning point to get married with Bob Tizard, then president of the Auckland University Students Association who became 6th Deputy Prime Minister of New Zealand at later time. It is the event at her young age of 20. I suppose it caused her getting the connections to the political world.
